Kunstsone

By taking as a starting point the needs of the people who use Nesttun in Bergen, Norway, Kunstsone is created together with the local population and local industry. We want to link what is locally produced to a new form and function. Kunstsone Nesttun is a local project that can be placed in a larger perspective; in time (present and future), geography (urban, regional and national) and imagination (expansion of the space of opportunity). The Kunstsone shall be an attitude-creating and diverse interaction that shall contribute to the development of local culture. The installation(s) that was created is an open works, which can be transformed, built on and reactivated and thus define and redefine the local environment over time.

Ved å ta utgangspunkt i behovene til menneskene som bruker Nesttun i Bergen, Norge, Kunstsone var skapt sammen med lokalbefolkningen og lokal industri. Vi ønsker å knytte det som produseres lokalt til en ny form og funksjon. Kunstsone Nesttun er et lokalt prosjekt som kan plasseres i et større perspektiv; i tid (nåtid og fremtid), geografi (urban, regional og nasjonal) og fantasi (utvidelse av mulighetsrommet). Kunstsone er et holdningsskapende og mangfoldig samspill som skal bidra til utviklingen av lokal kultur. Installasjonen(e) som skal opprettes vil være åpne verk, som kan transformeres, bygges på og reaktiveres og dermed definere og omdefinere lokalmiljøet over tid.
